USEN EFIK (Efik day) is a programme of the USEN EFIK INITIATIVE. Usen Efik Initiative is a human capital development and cultural organization for the Efik People that reside in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja. The mandate and purpose is to promote the growth of Efik Culture and Heritage as well as boost harmony with other cultures.

Usen Efik Initiative organizes an Annual Efik Festival on the last Saturday in November of every year. It is a day of solidarity and love, thanksgiving and opportunity to share with our neighbors of other cultures in our residential location in Abuja.

The Festival has occurred in Abuja every year since its inception in 2015, with exceptions in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID 19 Pandemic.

The Usen Efik Initiative started the festival as a one-day-single-segment event with the primary goal of showcasing the rich Efik Culture and Heritage in Abuja. This event also provides a platform for other cultures to enjoy and celebrate with the Efik People.

Over the years, the festival has upgraded its activities into three(3) segments, which are: Festival Barbecue Night, Cultural Parade and Efik NIGHT. These three events are hosted by Award Winning Efik celebrities and Musicians.

In every edition, you are sure to be entertained with a new concept as there is always an upgrade on its activities. This has attracted over 10,000 attendees every year to the Event including members of international communities and millions of viewers via the social media (Facebook live, Twitter live, and Instagram live), NTA, AIT, Youtube, Ebonylife TV Africa Magic and CCTV.
